The IPP Innovation Accelerator is a six-month program for Vietnam-based projects to accelerate their innovative activities and increase their potential for international growth.

The program provides standardized and tailored services including practical innovation and entrepreneurship training based on a comprehensive curriculum, mentorship, network access, and matching funding for new Vietnamese innovative and high-growth companies as well as consortia that are developing support services for startups in Vietnam. In 2015, the Innovation Accelerator will support approximately 25 projects throughout Vietnam.

Who can join?

Innovation system development consortiums

  • Providing a new innovative service or solution for the local innovation system
  • Whereby the solution increases needed support for new growth companies in the local innovation system
  • Developed by a minimum of three consortium members

New Innovative Companies

  • With new innovative products or services for any international market
  • That are registered company in Vietnam
  • Having a minimum three core team members

What do we offer?

A first stage grant of maximum 30,000 euros for company projects and maximum 50,000 euros for system projects. The grant is for reimbursing human resource costs
Innovation and entrepreneurship training based on a tailored curriculum and delivered by experienced trainers, including IPP Training of Trainers program participants
Frequent business and networking events
Access to mentors, investors, and other stakeholders in Vietnam and abroad
Mid-term and End of the year Demo Day with prizes for best teams
Opportunity for additional grants at the end of the program
